Chocolate-Walnut Date Treats

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Bake Believe® Chocolate Flavored Melting Wafers
- 9 pitted Medjool dates
- 9 walnut halves, each cut in half
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions:
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Find the opening on the dates where the pit was removed and split open. It should run lengthwise along the date.
- Stuff 2 walnut pieces into the opening of the date.
- Place the chocolate melting wafers in a medium heat-proof bowl and microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth.
- Dip the stuffed dates halfway vertically into the melted wafers, one at a time.
- Shake to remove the excess melting wafers and place the dipped date on the lined cookie sheet.
- Immediately sprinkle the chocolate-dipped side of the date generously with the chopped walnuts.
- Sprinkle the chocolate-dipped side with a small amount of kosher salt, as well.
- Repeat the process with the remaining dates.
- Place the date treats in the freezer for 5 minutes to harden.
- Enjoy right away or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
