Chocolate Freezer Pie

Ingredients: For the crust:
- 2 cups finely chopped pecans
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted
For the filling:
- 1 (9 ounce) bag Bake Believe® Milk Baking Chips
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons Bake Believe® Dark Chocolate Baking Chips, finely chopped
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions: For the crust:
- Place pecans in a bowl. Add melted butter and stir until fully combined and moistened. Press mixture in the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Transfer to freezer and chill while preparing filling.
For the filling:
- Place chocolate chips in a mixer bowl. Heat heavy cream in a small saucepan, over low heat until it reaches a gentle boil. Remove from heat and pour hot cream over chocolate chips. Let the mixture stand for 1 to 2 minutes, then stir by hand continuously until chocolate is melted and the mixture is fully combined and smooth. Add cream cheese and honey and mix with an electric mixer on medium high speed for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Pour filling into pie shell and smooth the top. Sprinkle chopped chocolate and sea salt on top. Cover in plastic wrap and transfer to the freezer for at least 4 hours. When ready to serve let the pie sit out for about an hour to allow for easy cutting. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator.
