No-Sugar-Added Hazelnut Spread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Bake Believe® Semi-Sweet Baking Chips
  • 1 ¾ cups roasted blanched hazelnuts
  • 3 tablespoons Confectioners Swerve
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • ½ tablespoon avocado oil or other neutral oil
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt

Instructions:

  1. Place the roasted hazelnuts in a small food processor.
  2. Process hazelnuts until they are finely chopped and begin to form a paste, about 3 minutes, stopping to scrape the sides halfway.
  3. Place the semi-sweet chips in a heat-proof bowl and microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Add the melted semi-sweet chips along with the Confectioners Swerve, cocoa powder, oil, and salt to the food processor.
  5. Process for 3 minutes or more, until you achieve your desired consistency.
  6. The spread will be thin at first but will firm up after it sits overnight.
  7. Transfer to a jar and enjoy!
