Bake Believe’s No Sugar Added, Gluten Free Dark Chocolate Hummus

- ¼ cup Bake Believe™ Dark Chocolate Baking Chips, divided
- 1 can chickpeas, well drained
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 5 tablespoons maple syrup alternative, like Lakanto
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
- Place the chickpeas in a small saucepan and cover with water. Place over medium heat and cook just until heated.
- Place the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in another small saucepan over medium-low heat and whisk until melted.
- Drain the chickpeas thoroughly and place in a food processor along with the melted chocolate mixture, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Add water to achieve your desired consistency.
- Enjoy right away or cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
